The field blend planted in 1961 and 1971 portrays a magnificent ampelographic collection with a precious portfolio of ancient, local and national grape varieties, with a predominance of red varieties. The Castelão variety deserves to be highlighted, because it forms the base of all red wines. The vines are not irrigated, which allows a controlled growth of the vine, focused on the ripening and quality of the grape instead of excessive leaf growth.
